Metroid Prime is a 2002 GameCube video game developed by Retro Studios and released by Nintendo of America in the USA on November 18, 2002. Ten years ago, beneath the surface of Planet Zebes, the mercenaries known as "Space Pirates" were defeated by interstellar bounty hunter Samus Aran.
