Strange aliens from space are threatening the earth. Attempts to communicate have failed. These bizarre silicon-based lifeforms are oddly square and blocky in appearance, but their goal is clear: the conquer our planet. This is the only version of Space Invaders for the 2600 to feature 11 invaders per row, matching the arcade game in this regard.
